From mining and quarrying to music and farming (and much more besides), Constantine has a fascinating past. Since June 2005, it is also proud to have its very own local history museum. Come a glimpse for yourself the life and times of this vibrant community near the Helford River.
As the museum develops, it will offer:
The museum is open during Cafe hours (Tuesday and Thursday 10.30 - 2.00pm; whenever the Centre is open, and by arrangement on 01326 341353 or 340279.
The Constantine Heritage Centre is located in the Tolmen Centre on Fore Street.
There is parking in the village car park, which is by the church and the church hall. There is also plenty of parking around the village itself, particularly up by the recreation ground, only a five minute walk away.
There also very limited parking outside the Centre, which we try to reserve for performers, or those who find it particularly hard to get about.
